Your broadband RF multiplexer and filter specialist
Plexsa offers low loss, highly selective product solutions for broadband filtering and multiplexing. Drawing on our near 30 years of experience and expertise in suspended substrate stripline technology, we are able to balance multiple high-performance specifications together in compact packaging to serve our client needs.
We can achieve ultra-sharp roll-off even in multiplexers such as our QUAD481218C, a quadruplexer (fourplexer) which attenuates the signal power to -60 dB within 200 MHz of each of its crossovers. This is significant as for the 12 GHz crossover, for example, this works out to reaching -60 dB isolation within ±1.67% of the crossover, indicating a very steep roll-off rate! Another of our products showcasing similarly incredible steep roll-off is our QUAD61014300A, which reaches its 60 dB rejection rate within 300 MHz of each crossover. For its 14 GHz crossover, this means that -60 dB attenuation is reached within ±2% of the crossover. Neither of these incredible multiplexers compromise on any of their other key specifications to reach this noteworthy performance: both have low passband insertion losses of < 1.5 dB and high return losses of > 12 dB, and all in compact packaging (94.9 x 50.7 x 10.1 mm for a typical painted QUAD481218C and 83.3 x 46.0 x 10.2 mm for a typical painted QUAD61014300A).
Our products will help you get the best performance from your system by precisely and thoroughly isolating your desired signals thanks to their very high rejection, and minimal power loss over the passbands. An example would be our BP26C, a bandpass filter which, other than having low passband insertion loss (≤ 1.5 dB) and high return loss (> 14 dB) also has very high rejection of > 70 dB.
At Plexsa our expertise in delivering low-loss components can be seen in products such as our QUAD481218A, a quadruplexer which has a very low passband insertion loss of < 1.0 dB while also having a very good return loss of > 14 dB throughout. And if return loss is of specific import to you, our HP6T26P5A is a great example of how we can achieve an extremely high return loss of > 17 dB over a broad passband of 6 – 26.5 GHz, while also having a very low passband insertion loss of ≤ 1.0 dB. Similarly the LP10A has > 18 dB return loss along with ≤ 1.0 dB insertion loss and 60 dB isolation.
In recent years we have expanded our production and testing capabilities to fully cover frequencies from DC – 70 GHz, some examples of such products being our DP45T70A and our DP58T70A, two diplexers whose passbands span the full frequency range of DC – 70 GHz. Their contiguous crossovers at 45 and 58 GHz are achieved with low crossover losses (< 5.5 dB) and low passband insertion losses (< 1.5 dB).
A Plexsa specialty is ultra-broadband multiplexing and filtering, as we are able to achieve high performance over challenging passband ranges. Other than the two diplexers just mentioned, this expertise can be seen in products such as our DP1T18A, another contiguous diplexer whose upper passband stretches from 1 – 18 GHz and the DP1840HPA, whose passbands stretch from DC – 18 and 18 – 40 GHz with a low crossover loss of < 4.0 dB and while maintaining > 12 dB return loss.
Our multiplexers are compact real-time solutions to splitting or combining multiple signals over a broad frequency range. Combining your desired RF filters into a single multiplexer is much more space efficient and yields lower losses than keeping them separate. We offer diplexers, triplexers, quadruplexers, quintuplexers, and sextuplexers alongside broadband RF filters.
The high performance of our products is brought to life by in-house design and manufacturing, as the only way such groundbreaking results are possible is with full control and customization of each process. The additional benefits of rapid prototyping and quality control further supports Plexsa’s expertise in custom-design, which combines with our decades of experience to provide clients with the most optimal innovative solutions to all their complex filtering needs.
